What is Microcement?

Microcement is a highly durable seamless coating composed of aggregates, water-based resins, and mineral pigments and can be applied to walls, floors, worktops, and furniture. It is applied by hand in multiple thin layers to a thickness of 2-3mm. It is available in various colours, finishes, and textures, making it perfect to suit anyone’s design or practical needs.

Benefits of Microcement

Durability: Despite its thin application, microcement is highly durable, resistant to abrasion, and has a hard surface once cured. It’s suitable for high-traffic areas, including commercial spaces.

Water Resistance: Thanks to its resin-based formula, our microcement is 100% waterproof before sealers are applied, making it perfect for use in bathrooms, wet rooms, steam rooms, and kitchens.

Low Maintenance: Microcement is easy to maintain due to its seamless, non-porous surface. Regular cleaning with non-abrasive, PH-neutral products helps keep surfaces in good condition.

Versatility: When prepared correctly, Microcement can be applied to a wide range of surfaces, such as screeds, plaster, tiles, cement boards, and wood.

Customisable Finishes: Microcement can be tinted with colour pigments and textured to achieve various finishes, from a polished, smooth look to more rustic or industrial textures. Its appearance can range from matte to glossy, depending on how it’s finished.
